Our vision is simple – to help reduce the number of drink-drivers on our roads, creating a safer place for us all in our region. We aim to do this by being Leicester’s 1st unique and convenient anti-drink DriveMyCarHome service, where you enjoy having a few drinks and we take the duty of driving you and your car home safely.
So when you have the dilemma of having the car in your possession but you are wanting to have a drink, you can with the award winning DriveMyCarHome.co.uk. Our unique service takes out the hassle of using the old traditional means of catching a cab home and then the added inconvenience/time consuming issue of catching another cab the next day to pick up the car from wherever you left it.
How we differ is that a chauffeur arrives that same evening on foldable moped, which is placed into a protective bag and put into your car boot; the chauffeur drives you and your car home safely, once home the chauffeur unfolds the moped and drives away.
The business was founded by the owner Vimal Chauhan in August 2009 from his own life experiences.
Our day to day lifestyles have changed so much over the years with us all becoming more and more busier, spending more hours at work, busy running the home, etc. thinking where has all the time gone! I for one have been a culprit of this, being an ex – city worker, working 60 hours a week in the financial industry, trying to juggle work, home and a social life in itself is a ‘conundrum’, trying to find the easiest and convenient way of doing everything.
The business idea came about after going out on numerous occasions with my wife where one of us would drive and not drink. Only later on in the evening deciding to have a few drinks after bumping into old friends, and thus having to leave the car in town, as we could not find a company in Leicester to drive our car home.
